In 2012, the end of the mining industry in Saarland was commemorated with a one-year-long exhibition in the disused mine Reden. A comprehensive 520-page catalogue featuring numerous photographs of exhibits, historical photographs, and in-depth essays was commissioned. Coarse black effect print on the cover evokes the rough surface of coal and stone.
