Alte Pinakothek

Together with architects Sunder-Plassmann, a new and distinct signage using elegant brass and gold-plated letters and icons was developed for the Alten Pinakothek in Munich. Based on Hans Döllgast’s (architect responsible the reconstruction of the Pinakothek, 1952–1957) stencil typeface, we had Stefan Hübsch and Sven Fuchs (Typocalypse) recreate a display grotesk variant for use with that signage. The new signage was inaugurated in october 2018.
